Desktop app
Freddia, on your desktop.
The same books, in a native window — with faster scanning, real system printing, and an icon in your dock. Included on every plan.
macOS
Windows
Linux
There's no Linux build yet. Freddia runs fully in the browser in the meantime — the web app is the same product, with the same books.
Before you install
Worth knowing.
It's the same books
The desktop app is the web app in a native shell. Your data lives in the same place and syncs the moment you're online — nothing to import or export between them.
Why bother installing it
Faster receipt scanning from a connected scanner, proper system printing for invoices and payslips, and a dock or taskbar icon instead of a browser tab.
Unsigned builds, for now
These builds aren't code-signed yet, so macOS Gatekeeper and Windows SmartScreen will warn you on first launch. On macOS: right-click the app and choose Open. On Windows: More info → Run anyway.
Updating
Download the newer build from this page and install over the top. Your books are on the server, so nothing local is lost.
No install needed to start.
Freddia runs in the browser too. Start a free trial, then add the desktop app whenever you want it.
